News - DAFM announces details of financial supports for the BVD programme
The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine has announced that the application form for the one off €100 welfare payment for any beef bred cow whose offspring is removed under the voluntary phase of the BVD (Bovine Viral Diarrhoea) eradication programme is now available from the Department's website:

Separate arrangements are being put in place by the Department's Wexford office in respect of the removal of P.I. calves in both dairy and beef bred herds. The €15 subsidy will be paid directly to the animal collector on submission of the NBAS 31D form relating to the disposed calf.
