Animal Health Ireland and University College Dublin sign a Memorandum of Understanding, establishing a framework for continued cooperation between the two organisations.
In welcoming the agreement, the CEO of Animal Health Ireland, Mr. Joe O’Flaherty, said that “AHI is delighted to have the opportunity to formalise the relationship between AHI and UCD. Staff from the University participate in and chair various of the technical and implementation groups that are critical to the delivery of our work programmes and, along with other stakeholders, continue to actively contribute to setting the strategic direction of the organisation.”
Mr. O’Flaherty concluded: “In addition to the formalisation of existing collaboration between the organisations, the Memorandum opens up new areas for future co-operation. I am particularly looking forward to deepening our collaboration in relation to research areas of mutual interest and to progressing the idea of an Animal Health Ireland lectureship in herd health.”
